A family winery
Suertes del Marqués is a family winery where we began making wine in 2006. Twenty years earlier we had started out as growers, selling our grapes to another winery in the Valle de La Orotava Denomination of Origin.
Geographically, we are in the north of Tenerife, in the Orotava Valley, and within it in the municipality of the same name.
While never losing sight of respect for tradition, a cornerstone of our winery's philosophy, at Suertes del Marqués we try to interfere artificially as little as possible in making our wines. To that end, we work with native yeasts, avoid racking and use sulphur in small amounts.
