Pazo Señorans, now converted into a winery, is a magnificent example of the 16th-century manor houses built in the countryside with all the charm and grandeur of times past.
The Pazo and winery, originally owned by Marisol Bueno and Javier Mareque (and now also by their four children, Marisol, Vicky, Javier and Santiago), began making wine in 1989, although the vineyard was planted earlier.

The origin of the name Pazo Señorans is unknown: no one

knows whether the place gave its name to the Pazo or the Pazo to the place. The family works to make its wines a faithful reflection of the land they come from.

They firmly believe in the variety's full potential, from young wines to its ability to develop over time.
For years they have carried out R&D&I projects with various institutions and companies, especially those focused on studying native varieties and on vineyard care and its environmental impact.
