The project
Originally the project of three young winemakers and growers, Fernando García (Bodegas Marañones), Daniel Gómez Jiménez-Landi (first as part of Bodegas Jiménez-Landi, now through his own project, Daniel Landi Viticultores) and Marc Isart (Bodegas Bernabeleva), it is now run by the first two since Marc Isart's departure.
Old vines in the Sierra de Gredos
They farm 3 hectares near the Sierra de Gredos,
in two villages: Cadalso de los Vidrios and Rozas de Puerto Real.
These are old Garnacha vines on granite soils, farmed biodynamically. A key feature of these vineyards is their altitude: they work the highest vineyards in the Vinos de Madrid Denomination of Origin, between 900 and 1,000 metres, seeking balanced ripening and wines with freshness and elegance.
