You cannot talk about Brunello without mentioning Biondi-Santi. This winery emerged in the late 19th century and is part of Italy's living history.

In 1865, Clemente Santi founded Brunello di Montalcino, the region that would later become one of the world's most important.

The balance and vibrant freshness of Sangiovese, the only grape allowed in Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino, have been nurtured for more than 150 years at Tenuta Greppo, the family's estate. Meticulous viticulture, close study of soils and plots, and selecting its own clone are key to the winery's success.
