With this ambitious project undertaken by César Ruiz, Viñas Serranas sets out to show the full potential of the Sierra de León. The first vintage was 2007, and the wines have evolved every year since. They show the diversity and potential of the Sierra de Salamanca.
César Ruiz is one of the founders of La Tintorería, a wine shop in Madrid, and has always sought new challenges and ambitious
new projects such as Viñas Serranas, in this case with the support of Mandrágora Vinos de Pueblo, whose distinctive Rufete wines are gaining prestige every year.
Viñas Serranas wines are generally strikingly fresh and come from very early harvests. The vineyards were also planted entirely organically.
