In 1996 he decided to create Tardieu-Laurent in Lourmarin, in the heart of his native Provence.
Since then, Michel has devoted himself to finding the finest plots and the finest grapes and bringing them to their peak through rigorous yet respectful winemaking and ageing, all finesse and delicacy, for the greatest pleasure of wine lovers. His children, Bastien and Camille Tardieu, have joined their parents, Michel and Michèle.
Michel already liked to pour a few drops of great wine into the children's glasses at Sunday lunch, so imagine his happiness at having them with him twenty years later to select, share, blend, raise and bring to life, all together, excellent wines for ageing, dedicated to lovers of the Rhône's finest regions.
