Today, the wines made under the Vincent label are vinified at the Château-Fuissé winery itself. J.J. Vincent & Fils wines are fruity and delicately touched by oak. The range is very broad: white wines from Chardonnay (JJ Bourgogne Blanc, Mâcon-Villages "Champ Brûlé", Saint-Véran "Les Morats", Pouilly-Fuissé "Marie-Antoinette") and two Gamay reds (Morgon and Juliénas).
The latter come from Beaujolais and are made the old-fashioned way in open vats. Mâconnais soils are mostly limestone and usually rich in clay. The vines are trained with single Guyot pruning at a density of 8,200 vines per hectare. Temperatures are higher than the Burgundy average, so the grapes are riper and the acidity less marked. The ripeness of the skins adds an extra dimension, showing as ripe fruit, some exotic notes and brioche.
