Burgundy's originality lies in its geological complexity, the source of its diversity of plots known as "climats".

We are privileged to own vineyards ideally located in the most prestigious appellations of the Côte. These terroirs are planted with just two grape varieties: Chardonnay for white wines and Pinot Noir for reds.

From one harvest to the next, the vine goes through a growing cycle in which every stage is crucial and calls for the most rigorous care.

At Domaine Faiveley, great importance is placed on looking after the estate, and the development of the vineyard is followed with the closest attention. Strict Guyot pruning is carried out in winter, followed by disbudding in spring and trimming and leaf removal in summer. All these tasks are done by our teams, drawing on knowledge and experience built up over almost two centuries.
