The Cattier family lives on the Montagne de Reims, where it owns 33 hectares of vineyards, including some of Champagne's most celebrated crus in villages such as Rilly-la-Montagne, Chigny-les-Roses and Ludes. Grape selection draws on the family's deep knowledge of Champagne's complex and rich vineyards, which they have worked for more than 250 years. Each year they look for the plots that have yielded the most characterful fruit Mother Nature has to offer, regardless of cru. A core principle of Cattier's vineyard management is sustainability.

That is why its vineyards hold Level 3 HVE (High Environmental Value) certification,

the highest level awarded by the French government. The certification reflects the family's commitment to protecting the environment for future generations. A hallmark of Armand de Brignac's winemaking is that it uses only the first, freshest portion of the pressing, the cuvée, to make the best Champagne possible. This strict selection and meticulous attention to detail ensure that the juice has great personality, a silky texture and well-balanced acidity. A unique feature of Champagne Armand de Brignac is the blending of three vintages. Each creation combines the unique character of three different harvests while keeping the powerful lineage passed from one creation to the next.
