A dream come true

For the first time, Belondrade y Lurton earned a place at Spain's finest tables. Thanks to an excellent reception from critics and customers, Belondrade's reputation spread to the other side of the world, with its first steps in the Japanese and American markets. Belondrade set out to be "A Bordeaux château in Spain".

To achieve it, the project rested on one key principle: its own vineyards. That is how the Quinta San Diego estate took shape, with the planting of its first four plots. Vincent Defos du Rau designed the building that would house Belondrade's future: long and elegant, echoing and blending into the Castilian plateau landscape. That future has now arrived in the form of a new wine, Belondrade Quinta Clarisa.
