Bodegas Altos de Tr3vejos, founded in 2012, is the Alfonso family's project within the Abona Denomination of Origin.
It is located in Los Llanos de Trevejos, in the municipality of Vilaflor, in the southern part of the island of Tenerife, at an altitude of 1,300 metres above sea level. The winery itself is in San Miguel de Abona, where the wines are produced.
It currently has 23 hectares of trellis-trained vineyard, along with a further 15 hectares or so of very old bush-trained vines under its management. The white varieties are Listán Blanco, Verdello, Albillo Criollo, Malvasía and Muscat of Alexandria. The reds are Baboso Negro, Vijariego, Listán Prieto and Syrah.
Altos de Tr3vejos wines are the result of meticulous grape selection based on quality criteria, with harvesting carried out at the ideal point of ripeness.
En este momento cuentan con una superficie de viñedo de 23 Hectáreas plantadas en espaldera, y controlan unas 15 hectarias más de viñedo muy antiguo plantadas en vaso. Las variedades blancas son: Listán blanco, Verdello, Albillo Criollo, Malvasía y Moscatel de Alejandría. Las tintas son: Baboso Negro, Vijariego, Listán Prieto y Syrah.
Los vinos de Altos de Tr3vejos son fruto de un minucioso trabajo de selección de la uva, con criterios de calidad, procediendo a su recolección en el momento idóneo de maduración.
